can we

if we can be broken,
can we also be whole?
who taught you to be so fragile?
who told your heart to shake every minute of the day?
who said you have to hide
and hate the person in the mirror?
who...
who took this sweet smile away
and turned it into tears of sadness?
could you please tell me
what happened when you've had a choice
between
listening to the opinion of others
and listening to your own heart?
wake up
wake up!
WAKE UP!!!
do you know what's the number one job of satan?
to break the unity between people.
to break the unity between your head and your heart.
to convince you that you cannot possibly live freely
that your opinion doesn't matter
that your dreams will NEVER come true.
that you are stupid
that you're not worthy
that everyone can be loved EXCEPT for you
that everyone can be healed EXCEPT for you
that everyone can be changed, happy, pure, EXCEPT for you.
do you agree?
if you do, you have been fouled by satan alone.
he's been working on you.
he doesn't want you to realise something,
because he's realised that before you have.
you see, he remembers your life better than you do
and he can recognise God's hand on you better than you.
he knows God is up to something
he knows God has a plan for you
and according to all the things that God wanted to do through you lately
(that satan luckily managed to stop last minute
by convincing you that you're shy and unworthy),
God really loves you.
satan doesn't like the idea of you converting into believing.
he doesn't want you to realise that you've lived fed by lies.
he doesn't want you to trust God.
so he will press every single button available
he will attack you
he will feed you with anger
and hate
only to take your eyes off the true message:
God loves you and has a GOOD plan for your life.

now, will you choose to turn to God
or will you choose to believe satan's lies.

ground/ ziemia

today we spent a day out on our 'allotment'- in Poland you can buy a piece of ground where you can grow things and have a small wooden house where you can just chill. we were preparing ground for the winter. we were taking out weed and other stuff and once the ground was moved we saw a lot of old roots that needed to go in order to make space for new seed and that opened my eyes to how it works in life- we are like ground that needs working on. it needs planting and from time to time it needs digging through, taking out old roots. those could be the roots of problems, the roots we didn't bother spending time on. but they are like weed- if you only take out the part you can see on the surface, but leave the root in the ground, you are guaranteed to have that weed grow back. maybe it won't do straight away, but it will grow back, when you least expect it. it will kill the new seed you have spent time sowing.
you can't expect right fruit in your life without dealing with your past problems.
if you have things coming up in your life now that are bad, try viewing your past choices and think if those may be the results of those. remember that even if you have stopped doing something but not dealt with it properly, just left it, you may still reap the fruit of it in the future- good or bad.

time, patience, disobedience.

Are people patient?
What do we do when we hear 'hold on', or 'you can't know yet', or 'you can't have it'?
We go cray cray.
We are not patient by nature. It's all a part of our learning process and God works in weird, sometimes wrong looking ways. Why wrong? Because they're against what we wish for. Not as easy, pain/problem free, not as pretty looking as we’d want them to be. I think at some point (or a couple of them) we may all have come to a conclusion that we wished God worked in less mysterious ways. You get what I mean, right? But I bet God wished we listened and obeyed more so He wouldn’t have to work around our minds and wait till we come to the place we should have come to ages ago. But we are stubborn. So stubborn and proud, that it may take a tragedy for some to shake up and wake up.
We will always think we know something for a fact. No matter how much wisdom we may gain in our lifetime, we will make mistakes. We will be proud and stupid, making decisions upon our emotional state. We will be people. Imperfect, but saved, if you have accepted Jesus as your personal Saviour.
So, time.
What do you feel when you think of time?
On how many occasions were you made stop and wait for something to happen? How many times have you had to change your plans, make new unexpected decisions? It’s so frustrating, stressful and really, unnecessary. We don’t need more problems, do we? Why should we go through one more trouble? Why go back to that place again? Why start over? Why wait longer? Why stop this, or pause that? Why be broken hearted?
Because we haven’t learned yet.
We haven’t opened our hearts and ears enough to hear God’s whisper. We haven’t waited, seek guidance, we trusted our impulse instead of warnings. We took the step. We took the risk. And we have failed.
Sat on the edge of our bed we thought this was the end. Even if there was a way to go on we couldn’t believe we have end up in this spot again. So frustrated, mad and let down by our own pride. Now what? Come to God? Admit we were wrong?
How much did it take for you to learn your lesson?
For me it nearly took my life. God has saved me on a couple occasions from making some serious mistakes. And don’t worry, most of bad decisions He did allow me to make, since I didn’t really call for help.
Do you realise that most of those quick decisions you make are because you don’t understand the time line God has prepared for you? Do you know a part of this may be that you actually don’t trust God, or His promises, or that you are safe in His will for your life?
Yes He can use anything for your good. But also, you can walk away from His will for your life. It is possible. We call it disobedience to the call. Prioritising comfort over sacrifice. Convenience over confrontation. Dishonesty over truth. Selfishness over helpfulness. Riches of the earth over riches of the Heaven.
We choose a moment over Eternity.

If you don’t have it now it means you don’t need it now.
If God doesn’t give you the answer yet it means you either don’t need to know it yet or you’re not grown enough to accept the truth.
if you don’t have this position in church yet it either means you will never have it cause you’re only after a name and glory for yourself, or you’re not ready for it yet, or this is not for you but you choose to be stubborn instead of allowing Him to guide you.

You can’t play around with God. No one knows you the way He does.
He OWNS the time. He created it. So if you don’t sign up for obedience, you may end up a very disappointed, hurt, etc etc etc human being.
You are not god. You cannot control your life, you can’t control the way things will happen, you can’t take the time back.
So instead of putting yourself through more pain of whatever process you are in right now, even if everything seems okay, please, do yourself a favour, stop where you are and ask God if this is where you are meant to be.

And, if you have just gone through very painful time, please allow yourself to rest. Allow yourself some time of no big decisions, of letting yourself of in a sense of not overthinking everything that’s just happened. We are so busy we forget that there is also time to regain our strength.
There’s nothing wrong with being weak, with admitting we need help or with simply wanting to take some time out.
This note is to challenge you to focus on God if you want to live in His good will for your life, and it’s also to encourage you to see that you need to respect where you are at, see where God has brought you from and through that realise where He is taking you.
Remember, as much as ‘everything happens for a reason’, sometimes the reason is our disobedience and it has nothing to do with God’s will for us, so please take responsibility for your actions and if you have been blaming God for where you are at, get your acts together and man up.

God loves you. He will make your mess into a message IF you allow Him to help you and IF you decide to obey His time line for you. Learn to respect the waiting process and in it search for God’s treasures.

Everything is going to be okay.
Just wait and see ;)

the simple truth.

it's the way you go about preparing.
the way you treasure each second,
the way you use every experience,
good or bad
to be a lesson learned.
it's the way you wake up in the morning..
what's your first thought?
it's the way..
the way you thank God
that you woke up.
it's the way you face the day
knowing God has already faced it
for you
'he goes before you'
it's the way you trust this promise.
in understanding that God won't
take trials away
but that He will prepare you to
face every single one of them.
it's when you understand that hardships
were designed not to kill you
but to make you stronger...
to make you realise, that God
is GOD
a PERSONAL,
LIVING
GOD.
that Jesus came here
because of you.
even if you were the only person
to ever understand it.
to ever believe it.

He saved you.
not for you to waste your life.
not for you to ignore His will for you.

He saved you so you could have
a PERSONAL relationship with Him.

just you and him.

don't try to understand
what doesn't need to be understood
in order for you to be
saved.

stop wasting your time on
wrapping GOD in a pretty paper
of theology.

YOU DON'T NEED IT TO LIVE FOR HIM.

open your eyes to the promises He has for you.
open your heart to the love he wants to lavish on you.
open up, let him in
stop over-thinking, overdoing
and just be.

the beauty of God is the simplicity of this truth:
Accept that Jesus died for you and you will be saved.
The power of God is that your life, no matter how broken
how dirty
can be washed clean
the moment you ask for forgiveness of your sins.

allow your heart to soak in the love
God has for you
allow yourself to be free in the freedom
He paid for with his Son's life.

don't waste the life He gave you.
don't waste another second.

Your needs vs priotiries

'For the Lord God is the sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly'. Psalm 84:11

“Everything is needful that He sends; nothing can be needful that He withholds,” said John Newton.

Need. I need this, I need that, I need an upgrade, I need more clothes, more shoes, I need to get married, I need holidays.

Our lives are packed with needs, every single day we go about answering to them. We do it automatically. We concentrate on keeping ourselves happy.
This note is for you to take very personally. I don't want you to just read it, but let it sink in. Think about the questions I'm about to ask you and... answer them honestly in your heart.

What was the craziest thing you've ever done to get what you wanted (and you didn't actually need it?) did you get into debt? Did you lie? Did you steal?

What is it that you want at the moment that you can't just get? It may be something that is expensive, or it can be something that money can't buy- like peace at heart, forgiveness, or a spouse.

What are you still waiting for to happen? Do you wait for the day when you will know what you want to do with your life, do you wait to win in a lottery, do you wait to meet someone you'd fall head over heels for? Do you wait for people to respect you for who you are? Do you wait for those days when you'll be actually happy, but even tho you keep on achieving the goals you set before yourself, you keep on buying new toys, you keep on changing who you are with... that happiness is still miles away from you? Do you go to sleep with fear that what you are looking for is wrong? With knowledge that you have back-stabbed someone again just to get away from the situation and get people to believe that you were right?
What is your conscience telling you?

Did you know that being a Christian doesn't automatically make you obedient to God, or that whatever you do 'must be God's will otherwise He wouldn't have let it happen', is a lie?

Stop blaming God for your mistakes.

Stop talking about Him as if you were a marionette that was forced to go and do something dumb, then use Romans 8:28 as if God did want you to do it so He could use it for your good. He could, when you confront yourself. Or He could just let you experience the consequences of your choice. That's Him using it for your good.

God does have a will for every single life on Earth, but that life has to commit to Him first.
I cannot stand hearing people blame God for their decisions.

So what are the true needs, and what does it mean to wait patiently?
It's crazy how many things we don't actually need to survive. We could pretty much get down to water, bread, one pair of shoes, one change of clothes and one coat, plus somewhere you could sleep, but a bed is not necessary. Everything beyond that is an excess.
I look around and I see that everything I own is an excess.
Good job we have a merciful God who sees how the world is doing and allows us to make a use of today's technology.
Which still doesn't mean that we have to have the newest gadgets or as I said before live a lifestyle of satisfying our needs.
Think now of two things you'd really want to have. One of mine is having a very good camera.
Do I need it to survive? Absolutely not.

Don't get blinded by owning things, don't get confused between the priorities of this world and the priorities of your heart. Remember that your relationship with Jesus is the first and most important thing and anything beyond that won't satisfy your heart, won't give you peace.

“Everything is needful that He sends; nothing can be needful that He withholds,” said John Newton.

Nothing can be needful that He withholds. If you don't have it right now it means you don't need it.
With that, I'd like to tackle a controversial topic, which is searching/ waiting on a spouse.
People get desperate to have someone in their life. Christians in this area are probably the worst. Why? Because we get manic about it. I've seen people travel from one conference to another to 'hunt'. I see girls get obsessed so much all they do is 'pray for the right guy', forget to grow themselves, like every guy they meet, treat a 'hi' as a 'sign', him coming to the same birthday party as a 'date'.
I'm not saying praying is bad. It's the most important thing. But seriously people, concentrate on what God wants to teach you during your time of being single. Learn to love it and cherish it, because once you get married and then have kids, you will hardly ever be able to have a time when you won't be disturbed by anyone.
There is no time in your life that doesn't have a purpose. There is never a time of 'pause'. There could be a time between the chapters of your life but that time is specifically deserved for preparation.
Nothing can be needful that He withholds.
You may have been waiting for so long that you think God is playing a joke on you. You may 'know better' what you need, which is why you are signed up to more than one dating site, you keep on chasing guys, you do not guard your heart. Anyone can walk in and out whenever they want to. You petrify men because whenever you talk with them you mention the exact plan you have for your life and the number of kids you want to have.
This is not preparation. And if you keep going like this, you may be waiting for a long time.
This is not submitting to God but trying to have a total control over what happens, even tho you've lost control over yourself ages ago.

The only thing you need right now is go and delete all those accounts on dating sites, then go and pour your heart out before THE ONLY MAN YOU NEED RIGHT NOW, and that's Jesus.

This was specifically for someone and you will know if that was you. If so, please don't ignore it.

God wants good things for you.

Everything in your life has a purpose unless it's been created by you for you only.

God knows what we need, and He will give it to us in his time. Not ours.
We can't rush Him on. No desperate move will make Him give you what you want before you are ready to have it.

God loves you because He is Love, he knows you better than anyone ever will, so I think he is worth of your trust.

Let go and let God.

true compassion?

Dear God,
Open my eyes so I could see
what dwells in the eyes of other people
What kind of pain and suffering
Have they gone through
Tears that had to dry on their own
Arms that shook without a hug
Nervous hands, untouched
Whisper for help, never heard
Or rather,
Never listened to, intently.
Stories that've never been told
Kept so deep on the bottom of
A heart
That they've become a one long scar
Of pain
Only God knows of.
Sat in the corner of a room
Lonely bench in a locked up park
Under the bridge on a cold dark night
How old were you then?
16? 25? 70?
So much, so much pain.
Imagine fearing so much and so often,
That you've learned
To believe that THIS is who you are.
Imagine being abused by NOT RECEIVING HELP so consistently that you
TRULY ARE A LONELY PERSON.
Imagine being proved by every
Passing man and woman that you are
Not worthy of attention,
That you are dirty,
Not only on the outside, but on the
INSIDE,
That who you truly are
Is lost underneath the
Baggage of
Dirt.
Imagine being refused a
Corner of the shop to sleep in.
Imagine going without fresh food
For months at a time,
Only eating what you find in trash.
Imagine being
Spat on,
Laughed at,
Beaten up,
Only because all you can offer
Is the look of pain
And smell that follows you
Everywhere you go.
Imagine being genuinely unwanted.
Imagine NOBODY SMILING
At the sight of you.
Imagine having only a WALL
To turn to.
Imagine starving for compassion.

Dream big

Right where you are, look around for a few seconds.

What did you see?
A desk, a wall, a park, a road? Maybe some cars? Houses?

Everything you are surrounded by is a result of someone's dream.

Some guy had worked relentlessly on the best way to make a brick that would last for years. He designed a house, that became your home. The world has been drastically changed. We have buildings now.
Someone dreamt of designing flat roads, high ways, best ways to transport.

The clothes you're wearing right now were designed with passion and purpose.

We only have what we have, because some people haven't given up on their dreams.

Some people decided to pursue them no matter how many obstacles they'd face on their way to success.
I'm not saying they've never had a break. Some issues may have been so complicated that they might have had to stop for a certain period of time, but before they knew it they were up and running again.

There are some common things between people who succeeded in their life and some of them are:
-self discipline. They kept on going when they didn't feel like it, when circumstances around them weren't good. They made their bodies get under the self discipline of getting up early, working long hours etc.
-focus. They have made a plan and they sticked to it.
-THEY DIDN'T GIVE UP. They've made many mistakes, but they kept on going.

Dyson, man who made hoovers, had made thousands of models before he got to the one that was the best. He worked relentlessly until he achieved his success. Then, he worked some more to make it even better.

Walt Disney has been fired from his first job for 'lack of imagination'. Would you agree?

So many people who thought against schemes and traditions, because their dream was bigger than them.

What I'm trying to get at in this note is:
What are your dreams?
What is stopping you?
How easily do you get discouraged?
Do you depend on people's opinion of you?
How quickly do you give up?
Would you like to accomplish something big? Bigger than you?

I've had a dream to be able to work with people and teach them.
This week, while standing at the shore of a beautiful lake, I spoke about dreams.
I spoke about reaching out. About us being our only limit.
This week I've realised that part of my dream has come to life.
Only a part of it, because once I've reached working with people, I saw that actually I want to dream bigger. I want to expand this dream, and work, mentor and teach more people.
Marking two years of my work at the Discipleship school called Southport Master's Commission, I know one thing for sure.
My dream will cost me everything. To have it come true I will have to sacrifice more than I already did. I will have to set new goals, and push towards them no matter how many obstacles will get in my way.
And I will do it.

Will you reach your dream?
Believe, learn and keep going.

Never ever give up. Not risking anything is more risky than sacrificing everything.
Stand your ground and fight for it.
